Another exciting year is about to come to an end and it's certainly been an incredible one. As we get ready to say goodbye to 2003 we'd like to thank all of our affiliates for your continued support and dedication and for making Income Access what it is today.
We're looking forward to another fantastic year working even more closely with all of you.
Each Income Access merchant has their own individual commission structures, payment policies and payment methods. Here are a few points to remember regarding payments and commission structure.
- You receive a payment directly from each merchant. This means that the results of one merchant do not affect the results of another.
- You must specify payment details for each merchant. If a merchant does not have your payment details they will be unable to issue your hard earned commission payment. To add or update your payment details for each merchant login to Income Access and go to the "Your Account" area and update as necessary.
- In order to take advantage of the Referral Tiers that are offered by several Income Access merchants ensure that you've applied to each Merchant. If you are not a member of a particular Merchants affiliate program you'll miss out on receiving referral commissions.
| Income Access "How-To" - Tracking your Revenue Generating Ads |
If you're running multiple ads through the Income Access system you'll probably want to know which ads are generating the most revenue. You can do this easily with the Income Access "Earnings Report". This report allows you to display and analyze your earnings by merchant, banner and date.
Use this report to learn about which ads are converting best for you and which ones are not.
| Search Marketing - Pay Per Click Listings |
Search Engines are a great way to deliver highly targeted traffic. Many of you probably have your own Pay-Per-Click strategies; however, this information should still be useful for everyone managing a PPC campaign.
More and more affiliates have increased their search engine budgets over the past year, and as a result, pay-per-click campaigns have become very competitive. As keyword prices rise, so should your knowledge of the keywords that work best for you.
December is a busy month for the search engines and some of the methods below can be used to help maximize your ROI and lower your CPC.
- Many affiliates make the mistake of concentrating on the keywords that receive high traffic. For instance, the keyword "gambling" receives many more searches than the keyword "online gambling". Does this mean "gambling" is a better term to use? Not necessarily. The keyword "online gambling" will not deliver as much traffic as "gambling", but your visitors will be much more qualified. To target things even further, add another word to the phrase. The keyword "online casino gambling" is a term that should yield an even higher conversion ratio. Three word phrases will not generate much traffic from one search engine alone, so using multiple search engines will help maintain the traffic levels while keeping down your acquisition costs.
- Use misspellings in your keyword list. Misspelled keywords such as "online gamling", will be much cheaper and the quality just as high.
- Many searches will use hyphens and spaces when searching for something. This should be taken into consideration when developing your keyword list. For Example, the term "online" can also be spelled "on-line" or "on line".
- A good method to maximize your click through rate is to include the search term in your Title and Description.
For instance, an online casino could use the title "Blackjack at 123ABC Casino" for the keyword "blackjack", and the title "Poker at 123ABC Casino" for the keyword "poker".
- When web surfers are looking for something, they will often type a question in the search box. A user may type "where can I buy golf clubs".
These phrases are very cheap and extremely targeted as the searcher knows exactly what he is looking for.
- Every affiliate wants to see a lower cost per click. If you can avoid increasing your bid prices, do so. Working directly with your competition to lower the bids may be impossible, but dropping your own bids will hopefully get your competitors to follow. At the end of the day, everyone wants the most for their dollar and this is one method of maximizing your return.
